DirEx™

DirEx™ is designed for the easy and simple isolaton of template DNA for PCR applications. The whole procedure can be completed in a single tube in just 8 minutes with only two steps: incubation and inactivation. DirEx™ incubation can be conveniently performed in a conventional water/dry bath or a PCR thermocycler. The simple procedure of DirEx™ requires neither centrifugation nor additional pipetting, and it also allows simultaneous processing of many samples, minimizing handling errors and time while improving the quality of results and throughput at the same time. DirEx™ can be used for the preparation of template DNA from a wide range of biological and forensic samples, such as tissues, blood, hair, swab, blood stain, cigarette butt, and cultured cells. Prepared DNA can be used directly in PCR applications and/or stored at -20-80°C for later uses.
