Exgene™ FFPE Tissue DNA

Exgene™ FFPE Tissue DNA provides a convenient and easy method for the isolation of total DNA from Formalin Fixed and Paraffin Embedded (FFPE) specimen by non-organic solvents. FFPE is one of the most commonly used methods of clinical tissue preservation.  Clinical tissues are fixed by formalin and subsequently embedded in paraffin for preservation. FFPE tissues are traditionally used in disease diagnosis with microscopic observation and immunohistochemical analysis. Nowadays, extracted nucleic acid from FFPE specimen can be used for disease diagnosis and studies with the applications of various molecular technologies. Purified DNA from FFPE samples with the Exgene™ FFPE Tissue DNA kit can be used directly for PCR(≤500 bp), real-time PCR, and other downstream applications.
